Cashes pivotal three-pointer Abdur-Rahim supplied 15 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 82-79 win over Memphis. Impact Abdur-Rahim was the leader among Georgia reserves in both scoring and minutes played, but his story here was his pivotal three-pointer with two minutes remaining that put Georgia on top. The Bulldogs were able to secure the game with free-throw shooting from there, but it was the Virginia transfer's big shot that finally got them over the hump. Abdur-Rahim started for the Bulldogs on opening night and has made two starts since then, but it's been a struggle offensively for much of the early season. Through six games, Abdur-Rahim was shooting just 21.9 percent from the field and 11.8 percent from distance. Over the last two games, however, he's a combined 10-for-15 from the field and 7-for-11 from distance, suggesting he may be in the midst of a turnaround.
