Impact
Karchenkov was one of six Wildcats to reach double figures and also matched Jaden Bradley for a team-high five assists as Arizona cruised into a matchup with Purdue in the Elite Eight. The freshman from Munich continues to provide a solid contribution on a nightly basis, averaging 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 56.5-percent from the floor and 50.0-percent from long range in six games since the start of the Big 12 tournament and through the first three round of the NCAA tourney.

Big second half performance
Kharchenkov supplied 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 36 minutes during Saturday's 79-74 win over Houston.
Impact
Kharchenkov followed up a 17-point performance in Friday's semifinal by scoring all 12 of his points in the second half Saturday to help Arizona hold off Houston and clinch both the Big 12 regular season and postseason crown. The talented freshman from Munich has been a key player for the second-ranked Wildcats this season and has been especially productive over the last month, averaging 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals across 32.5 minutes over the past 11 games. He will continue to play a vital role in the NCAA tournament for an Arizona squad that will earn a top seed and enter as one of the favorites to win it all.

Stuffs stat sheet in OT loss
Kharchenkov closed with 13 points (4-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Saturday's 78-75 OT loss to Texas Tech.
Impact
Kharchenkov wasn't great efficiency-wise on the scoring front against the Red Raiders, but he made sure to pick up the slack in other areas. The freshman forward has started in every game so far this season for the Wildcats, and he's scored double-digit points in all but one of his last five games.

Glue guy for Cats
Kharchenkov amassed 10 points (5-6 FG), one rebound, two assists and one block across 27 minutes during Saturday's 84-77 win over UCF.
Impact
Karchenkov doesn't necessarily excel in any one category for the Wildcats, but he's reached double figures in nine of his last 11 games while shooting an efficient 54.3 percent from the field and logging 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals over that stretch. He's one of many threats for the undefeated Wildcats who currently sit atop the national rankings.

Dressed and warming up
Kharchenkov (ankle) is in uniform and going through full warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Auburn, Jason Scheer of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Kharchenkov logged just nine minutes last Saturday after injuring his ankle, but it won't cost him any additional time. He recently poured in a career-best 20 points in a win over Denver on Nov. 24 and will look to find that spark once again in a top-25 matchup at home.

Expected to play Saturday
Kharchenkov (ankle) is expected to play in Saturday's game versus Auburn, per Brian Pedersen of SB Nation.
Impact
Kharchenkov injured his ankle last Sunday versus Norfolk State, and he was unable to return to the matchup. The freshman forward's almost week of rest has appeared to but him in a good spot ahead of a home showing against the Tigers. While he hasn't been fully cleared yet for the Saturday game, he should play barring any setbacks.

Doesn't return Saturday
