Big man in portal Diagne has entered the transfer portal, Sam Kayser of League Ready reports.

Impact Diagne will go portalling after serving a depth role in both of his two seasons with Gonzaga. The 7-foot center averaged 1.1 points and 2.4 rebounds on seven minutes per game across the 2025-26 campaign.

Eight boards in first start Diagne notched three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and one block in 20 minutes during Saturday's 71-50 victory over Seattle.

Impact With Braden Huff sidelined long-term by a knee injury and Graham Ike sitting out Saturday with an ankle injury, Diagne was awarded his first start of the season and played his second-most minutes despite a bit of foul trouble. Don't look for a ton of scoring from the sophomore center, but the counting stats should continue to jump up for as long as Gonzaga's twin towers are sidelined. When Diagne isn't on the floor, Gonzaga tends to play a small-ball lineup with Tyon Grant-Foster seeing time at the five.

Impact Diagne was deemed a game-time decision leading up to this matchup but was able to give it a go. The freshman center will look to build off this performance for Wednesday's meeting with Washington State.
