Impact Slazinski is a player who has been eating up frontcourt minutes for head coach Rick Pitino since back when he was a freshman at Louisville in the 2019-20 season. He's been limited by an ankle injury for much of the 2022-23 campaign, which has resulted in him only appearing in seven games (three starts) out of a possible 16 contests for the Gaels. Slazinski appears likely to be granted a fifth year of eligibility, but in the meantime, look for Nelly Junior Joseph to take on an even greater role as the rotation tightens up.
