Available at BYU
Diallo (knee) is available for Central Florida's game Tuesday at BYU, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Now, the question is whether or not Diallo will be part of Central Florida's starting lineup Tuesday. If his 2023-24 stats are any indication, Diallo's updated role will not matter much just as long as he gets enough time to showcase his skill set. Whether as a starter or reserve, Diallo is averaging somewhere around six points and six rebounds this season.

Won't play Saturday
Diallo will miss Saturday's game at Texas Tech for undisclosed reasons, RC Maxfield of GamingTodayNews reports.
Impact
Diallo has appeared in all 21 games for UCF this season, including starting each of the last eight contests. The 7-foot senior, who currently leads the Big 12 in blocks per game (1.9) will now sit out, though the reason for his absence is still unclear. Diallo has also averaged 6.2 points and 6.2 rebounds while attemping just 4.0 field-goals per game. In his stead, senior center Omar Payne will likely return to the staritng lineup for the Knights.

Diallo contributed zero points (0-3 FG) and three rebounds over six minutes during Monday's 67-57 loss to Radford.

Part of starting lineup
Diallo (leg) is part of the Spartans' starting lineup Monday against Radford, according to their Twitter account.
Impact
Fortunately for Diallo, he will not sit out any games because of his injury scare from Saturday against Southern Indiana. He will look to redeem himself after logging two points and one rebound across nine minutes during the weekend.

Questionable for Monday
Head coach Tim Miles said after Saturday's 77-52 win over Southern Indiana that Diallo will be questionable for Monday's quarterfinal game, Matt Weiner of The Spear reports.
Impact
DIallo was limited to just nine minutes of playing time before picking up what appeared to be a left leg injury. The 7-0 junior finished with two points (1-3 FG), one rebounds, one steal and a block on the day. Tibet Gorener figures to slide into the starting lineup if Diallo can't go.

Underperforms in loss
Diallo had three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 70-62 loss to Fresno State.
Impact
The junior only attempted two shots in 16 minutes played in Tuesday's loss to Fresno State. The center has been productive on the board, but has lacked efficiency on the offensive side of the ball. Expect more shot attempts for Diallo moving forward.

Return determined soon?
Coach Tim Miles told reporters that Diallo was going to "test the leg" following a loss to Colorado State on Jan. 15, 247 Sports reports. At that point, a determination was suppose...
Impact
It's been nearly a month since those comments from Miles, and Diallo has yet to take the court for the Spartans. Miles also noted that "honestly, if we can't get him in the coming weeks, we're probably not going to have him." That suggests that Diallo's season could very well be over, though not much has surfaced on the seven-footers status of late. San Jose state has struggled without his presence, as the Spartans are a bottom-15 team in the entire country in offensive rebounding rate, and defensive rebounding doesn't look a whole lot better. It's at least one explanation as to why the team is winless in Mountain West play.

Diallo won't be available for Saturday's game against Pacific due to a knee injury, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Diallo has been a key figure down low for the Spartans early in the season, averaging 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks over 23.6 minutes per game. He will not be in the mix Saturday, making his next opportunity to play Friday when the team travels to face Portland.

Available Saturday
Diallo (knee) is available for Saturday's game against Illinois, Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
Impact
Diallo hasn't logged any minutes since Dec. 13 as he was previously sidelined with a knee injury but he'll be available if needed for Saturday's contest. It's unlikely he'll actually get in the game and shouldn't be expected to see any meaningful minutes with postseason play around the corner.

Dealing with a concussion
Diallo suffered a concussion in the win over Cleveland State on Dec. 13 and will not be available for Saturday's game against UCLA, Adam Jardy of Bucky Extra reports.
Impact
Diallo managed to suffer a concussion in the two minutes of action he saw last week against Cleveland State. The sophomore will miss his second consecutive game which will leave the Buckeyes with Kyle Young and hopefully E.J. Liddell (illness) as the team's big men for Saturday's contest. It's unclear when Diallo is expected to return but his next chance will come Wednesday in the team's conference opener against Rutgers.
