Deywilk Tavarez - Committing to Hofstra Tavarez has committed to Hofstra for the 2026-27 season, according to PortalUpdates.

Impact Tavarez spent the 2025-26 season with Loyola Chicago and posted impressive numbers across the board. He appeared in 33 games for the Ramblers, averaging 8.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. The junior guard should see regular playing time in Hofstra's backcourt.

Justin Moore - Chooses Hofstra Moore (undisclosed) will transfer to Hofstra, per Sidelines Sports Network.

Impact Moore had a productive redshirt senior season with Loyola-Chicago in 2025-26. The point guard averaged 10.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists for the Ramblers. Now, with one more year of eligibility remaining, Moore will take his talents to Hofstra, where he should immediately become a starter in his fifth year of college hoops.

Impact Davis did not have his best game in the CAA Tournament Final, but teammate Preston Edmead carried the offense in this one. Davis has had a great season, however, averaging 20.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. Hofstra will need him to do better than 3-for-13 from the field if they are going to pull off a big upset in the NCAA Tournament.

Impact Edmead has had a terrific freshman season and his highest scoring game of the campaign came at the perfect time. He was a huge part of the attack and this continues a strong recent stretch of games in which he is averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.8 three-pointers over the last six. Edmead should be heavily involved in Hofstra's first round game in the NCAA Tournament next week.
