GAME LOG

Back in starting five Taylor is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Seattle, Jesse Sowa of the Corvallis Gazette-Times reports.
Impact Taylor will get his first start since Nov. 27 with the Beavers still missing Chol Marial (ankle). Taylor got off to a fast start, averaging 16.3 points through the first four games but has since averaged just eight points over his last six games. He's still averaging a healthy 29.8 minutes per contest and is a good candidate to hit double-digit scoring if he can get his shot going.

The 6-foot-6 sophomore is off to a fast start this season, averaging 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.7 steals on 31 minutes per game. Taylor Jr. will look to keep up his offensive contributions during Saturday's showdown with Portland State.

Scores 16 in season-opener Taylor Jr. supplied 16 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 73-70 victory over Tulsa.
Impact Taylor Jr. helped propel the Beavers to a narrow win over Tulsa on Monday, notching 16 points and five rebounds. The 6-foot-6 sophomore appeared in 30 games for the Beavers in 2021, contributing 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals on 22.1 minutes per game. Taylor Jr. has broken into the starting lineup for the Beavers, and he should remain there if he continues to log solid performances.
NOVEMBER 8, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Closes season with 16 points Taylor Jr. closed Wednesday's 86-72 loss to Oregon with 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes.
Impact Taylor capped off a solid freshman campaign with 16 points in the Pac-12 Tournament opening round defeat while shooting 75 percent from the field and going perfect from the line. The 6-6 wing shot 59 percent from two-point range for the season but wasn't a big contributor across the stat sheet. Taylor should step into a bigger offensive role immediately next season after starting the last 12 games this year.
MARCH 10, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Successful first start Taylor Jr. closed with 15 points (5-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 39 minutes during Saturday's 86-63 loss to Colorado.
Impact Taylor has been an adequate sixth man for the struggling Beavers this season, but with point guard Dashawn Davis (ankle) sidelined Saturday, a lineup reshuffle occurred that saw Taylor make his first start. He paid that decision off with his second double-digit scoring effort of the season, though he was still shut out from distance. The freshman could certainly see his minutes expand as he progresses with the program, but expect his production to be limited the rest of the way out as the backcourt gets healthy.
FEBRUARY 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
In starting five Taylor will join the starting lineup for Saturday's game versus Colorado, Jesse Sowa of the Corvallis Gazette-Times reports.
Impact Taylor has carved out a significant role in the Beavers' rotation so far this season, but Saturday marks the first time he will join the starting five. Taylor's inclusion comes as a result of Dashawn Davis (ankle) missing out and could portend to expanded minutes.
