Impact Williams was a candidate to expand his role this season after three years as a regular reserve contributor, but a knee injury will be his first obstacle to achieving that goal. In the meantime, sophomore Carlos Stewart ran point for the Broncos in the opener and scored 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting, while Parker Braun led the team in assists with five.
