Mouhamed Sylla - Limited in return Sylla closed Saturday's 77-63 loss to Clemson with one point (0-2 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over eight minutes.
Impact Entering the contest, Sylla had missed four of Georgia Tech's last five games and only appeared for two minutes in a Jan. 10 contest at Miami. He was cleared from the injury report prior to Saturday's tip, but the 6-10 freshman came off the bench for the first time all season and saw limited run. We may be looking at a different player than the one who averaged 11.5 points and 8.7 rebounds through the first 11 games of the season, but Sylla will get another chance to ramp up Tuesday at Virginia Tech.

Mouhamed Sylla - Not on report Sylla (ankle) is not on the injury report and will be available for Saturday's game against Clemson.
Impact As expected, Sylla will be available for the matchup against Clemson. He'll add depth to the frontcourt and should be a sizable addition for the Yellow Jackets on both ends of the court. The big man averages 10.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

No. 18 Clemson visits Georgia Tech after Reeves' 21-point outing

Georgia Tech faces the No. 18 Clemson Tigers after Kowacie Reeves scored 21 points in Georgia Tech's 78-74 win against the NC State Wolfpack
JANUARY 23 • Associated Press
Mouhamed Sylla - Aiming to return for Clemson game Sylla (ankle) is aiming to return for Georgia Tech's clash with Clemson, per Sam Lance of The Field of 68.
Impact Sylla has missed four of the Yellow Jackets' last five games, including two straight absences. The freshman center is reportedly ramping up in practice and supposedly looked good doing so -- he appears to be trending in the right direction at the very least. The big man averages 10.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks; he'll be a big re-addition for Georgia Tech.
JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Kowacie Reeves Jr. - Leads GT to upset win Reeves totaled 21 points (6-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-8 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's 78-74 victory over North Carolina State.
Impact At 16.1 ppg, Reeves leads a group of four Yellow Jacket players in double figures. He's been especially productive since the start of December, averaging 18.5 ppg across 11 contests -- a stretch that includes seven games of 20 or more points. Three-point shooting was the difference-maker in this one, as he hadn't cashed multiple threes in any of his last four games, but did just enough here to help Georgia Tech pull off the road upset.
JANUARY 18 • ROTOWIRE
Akai Fleming - X-factor in upset Fleming closed with 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes during Saturday's 78-74 win over North Carolina State.
Impact Fleming's outlier performance snapped a streak of five games in single digits and also matched his season-best rebounding total. The freshman did commit a season-worst five turnovers, but Georgia Tech still managed to hang on for the upset win. With a week off ahead, the Yellow Jackets next draw Clemson on Saturday.

Mouhamed Sylla - Still out Saturday Sylla (lower body) remains sidelined for Saturday's clash with NC State, per the ACC availability report.
Impact The fact that Sylla wasn't ruled out on the initial report bodes well for a return in the near future, but it won't occur Saturday in Raleigh. The Yellow Jackets went with a slightly smaller starting five in his absence last time out and could decide to do the same Saturday.
JANUARY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Mouhamed Sylla - Officially questionable Sylla (lower body) is questionable at NC State on Saturday.
Impact Sylla has missed three of the last four games and most recently missed the Yellow Jackets' loss to Pitt on Jan. 14. The freshman center will remain a question mark heading into Saturday, and he'll likely be a game-time decision yet again. Sylla averages 10.2 points and 7.5 rebounds.

JANUARY 15 • Associated Press
Mouhamed Sylla - DNP Wednesday Sylla (lower body) did not appear in Wednesday's 89-66 loss against Pittsburgh.
Impact Sylla has now missed three of the Yellow Jackets' last four games with a lower body injury as Georgia Tech was routed by Pittsburgh on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-10 freshman will have his next chance to return to action Saturday against NC State.
JANUARY 14 • ROTOWIRE
Mouhamed Sylla - GTD vs. Pitt Sylla (lower body) is listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday game against Pittsburgh.
Impact Sylla is in danger of missing his third matchup out of the the last four as he deals with a lower body injury. The freshman center's status will clear up closer to tipoff.

JANUARY 13 • Associated Press
Mouhamed Sylla - Questionable for Wednesday Sylla (lower body) has been labeled questionable for Wednesday's game against Pittsburgh.
Impact Sylla has been tending to an unspecified lower body injury, and he's missed tow of GT's last three games. He'll be at risk of missing a third game Wednesday, due to the issue. He has started in all 15 games this season, but he played just two minutes in his last appearance.

Georgia Tech hosts Pittsburgh after Reeves' 23-point performance

Georgia Tech takes on the Pittsburgh Panthers after Kowacie Reeves scored 23 points in Georgia Tech's 91-81 loss to the Miami Hurricanes
JANUARY 13 • Associated Press
Mouhamed Sylla - Day-to-day with lower body injury Sylla (lower body) is day-to-day for Georgia Tech, per Kelly Quinlan of Rivals.com.
Impact Sylla missed two games for the Yellow Jackets, then returned to action against Miami only to be limited to two minutes. Now, the forward remains a question mark, as he's considered day-to-day. His continued absence would be a problem for Georgia Tech, as the freshman averages 10.2 points and 7.5 rebounds. Sylla will look to return on Jan. 14 against Pitt.
JANUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Mouhamed Sylla - Shut out Saturday Sylla totaled zero points (0-1 FG) over two minutes during Saturday's 91-81 loss to Miami (FL).
Impact After missing two games with an ankle injury and entering the day with a "questionable" designation, Sylla was cleared to play and start. That decision ended up doing more harm than good for fantasy managers, as he logged just two minutes and didn't record a counting stat in the game. No word of re-injury has surfaced, but Sylla is a risky play, at best, heading into Wednesday's home matchup against Pitt.
JANUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Jaeden Mustaf - Comes off the bench Saturday Mustaf (undisclosed) ended with six points (1-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes during Saturday's 91-81 loss to Miami (FL).
Impact Mustaf was a game-time decision as he was dealing with some type of injury. The sophomore guard was able to produce off the bench and will hope to earn more opportunities for Wednesday's game against Pitt.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Peyton Marshall - Reverts to bench Marshall is not included in the starting rotation for Saturday's game against Miami.
Impact Mrashall will be looking to make an impact off the bench during this contest after starting the previous two matchups in place of Mouhamed Sylla, who was out due to injury.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Mouhamed Sylla - Good to go Sylla (ankle) will play in Saturday's game against Miami
Impact Sylla was previously considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game, but he's been given the green light. The center has started in all 14 of his appearances this season, averaging 10.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks across 23.8 minutes. However, he has played just 14 minutes in each of his last three outings.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Jaeden Mustaf - Added to report as GTD Mustaf is listed as a game-time decision on the final availability report for Saturday's contest versus Miami.
Impact Mustaf missed a couple of games in mid-December, but it's unclear if the current situation is related to his previous absence. In any event, his status may not be determined until the team takes the floor for pregame warmups.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Mouhamed Sylla - Game-time call Saturday Sylla (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Georgia Tech on Saturday at Miami, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Sylla's availability will come right down to the wire. The freshman center, who's missed the past two games for the Yellow Jackets, will look to return against the Hurricanes but nothing is certain yet. He'll likely try to give it a go in warmups and take it from there. If Sylla can't play Saturday, expect Peyton Marshall to log another start.
