Kanon Catchings scored 23 points, and Georgia erupted for 60 second-half points to defeat Mississippi State 102-96 on Saturday in a regular-season finale for both teams

Impact Hubbard moved into fourth in the Mississippi State all-time scoring list, passing Jim Ashmore who played in the 1950s. He is just 217 points behind Jeff Malone as the school's leading scorer. Mississippi State is the 13-seed in next week's SEC Tournament and will play either Oklahoma or Auburn on Wednesday.
