Full offseason with program Mitchell posted two points (1-7 FG), two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes Canisius' 97-74 preseason victory over Toronto Metropolitan on Oct. 21.

Impact Mitchell was finally able to make his debut with the program after being deemed academically ineligible for the 2022-23 season. He struggled offensively, but it'll be interesting to see what the Humber College transfer can bring to the court at Canisius.

Out for 2022-23 The NCAA has ruled that Mitchell is ineligible to play in the 2022-23 season after transferring from Humber College in Toronto, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.

Impact Mitchell will have to wait until the 2023-24 season to make his debut for Canisius. The 6-foot-8 sophomore will bring good size at the forward position next season.
