Minimal role in victory
Federiko registered one point (1-2 FT), one rebound and one block over 11 minutes during Friday's 59-41 victory over Iowa State.
Impact
Federiko came off the bench for the first time this season since Dec. 7 after missing the previous game with a knee injury. However, it appears the big man is still affected by his injury, giving Guillermo Diaz Graham extended opportunities to continue being Pittsburgh's starting center.

Expected to be available
Federiko (knee) is expected to be available for Friday's game against Iowa State.
Impact
Although Federiko isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, he'll suit up after missing Tuesday's First Four game against Mississippi State. He's scored in double figures in five of his last eight appearances and has averaged 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 26.5 minutes per game during that time.

Not starting Friday
Federiko (knee) isn't starting Friday's game against Iowa State, Jerry DiPaola of TribLive.com reports.
Impact
Federiko was unavailable for Tuesday's First Four matchup against Mississippi State due to a knee injury, and he was considered day-to-day ahead of the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Guillermo Diaz Graham is starting for Pittsburgh once again Friday, while it's unclear whether Federiko will be available off the bench.

Won't play Tuesday
Federiko (knee) is out for Tuesday's game versus Mississippi State.
Impact
Federiko will miss Tuesday's First Four game after injuring his knee against Duke. Pittsburgh will have to beat Mississippi State without their usual starting center in order for Federiko to have a chance to play in March Madness.

Game-time decision for First Four
Federiko (undisclosed) is a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against Mississippi State in Dayton, Corey Crisan of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Impact
Federiko left their ACC Tournament loss against Duke with an injured knee. Pitt will certainly hope to have their big man against the Bulldogs who feature one of the top bigs in the SEC in Tolu Smith.

Comes close to double-double
Federiko finished Wednesday's 89-81 win over Georgia Tech with 19 points (7-7 FG, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes.
Impact
Federiko bounced back from his poor showing against Miami and led Pittsburgh to victory here with an impressive outing, making all his shots from the field and ending just two rebounds away from a double-double. Federiko should play a significant role Thursday against Duke as well.

Scores in double digits again
Federiko racked up 14 points (3-5 FG, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks in 34 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 76-68 victory over Georgia Tech.
Impact
Federiko scored in double digits for the third game in a row thanks to his efficiency from the charity stripe, as he knocked down all eight of his attempts from the free throw line. Federiko is averaging 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this month.

Pulls down 13 rebounds
Federiko supplied eight points (2-5 FG, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 29 minutes during Saturday's 83-75 victory over Florida State.
Impact
Federiko hasn't scored in double digits since Dec. 17, and he remains a starter, especially after John Hugley went down for the rest of the season due to an injury and his mental health. Federiko hasn't been much of a scorer, but he is still a productive player. He's averaging 7.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game over his last four contests.

Still filling in for Hugley
Federiko ended with two points (1-1 FG), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 81-79 victory over Wake Forest.
Impact
Federiko continues to see heavy minutes at center in place of John Hugley, who is out for the remainder of the season due to both injury and his mental health. As a result, the 6-11 sophomore has started the past 11 games for Pitt, posting 7.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocks over that span. This patter should continue as Pittsburgh looks to play it's way off the bubble into a more secure NCAA Tournament seed.

Excellent as starter Saturday
Federiko finished with 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-3 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 28 minutes during Saturday's 91-66 win over Sacred Heart.
Impact
Federiko started for the first time since Nov. 20, and he made the most of the opportunity since he recorded his first double-double of the season, as well as posting season-best marks in points, rebounds and assists. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Federiko tends to come off the bench, meaning he's not expected to deliver these numbers on a regular basis.

Federiko is starting Thursday against VCU.
Impact

Heads to bench
Federiko won't start for Pitt in their game against Michigan, Corey Crisan of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Impact
Federiko put up good numbers while enjoying starter minutes, but he'll head to the bench now that John Hugley is back in the fold for the Panthers. Expect to see some rotational minutes from the big man, but a healthy Hugley should dominate minutes at the five for Pittsburgh.

Sniffs double-double
Federiko contributed 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and three blocks over 27 minutes during Monday's 80-58 victory over UT Martin.
Impact
Federiko was extremely efficient in this game, missing just one shot from the field and also making his presence felt both as a defender and on the glass since he ended just three boards shy of a double-double. That said, the only way he'll remain valuable on fantasy will be while John Hugley (knee) remains out.

Posts double-double
Federiko had 10 points (5-5 FG, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds and three blocks across 19 minutes in Saturday's 103-51 exhibition victory over Clarion.
Impact
Federiko saw extra time on the court due to the absence of John Hugley (knee), the presumed starting center who Pitt is hopeful will be available for the opener. The starting role still went to seven-foot freshman Guilermo Diaz Graham, however, who logged four points, four rebounds and three assists while dealing with a bit of foul trouble. While this was a quality showing, it was a greatly-overmatched opponent, and Federiko may not have much fantasy utility unless Hugley ends up missing time.
