Productive despite inefficiency Ayala finished Thursday's 76-72 loss to Michigan State with 17 points (5-17 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 39 minutes.

Impact Ayala wasn't very efficient from the floor Thursday, as he shot just 29.4 percent from the floor and 20 percent from beyond the arc. However, he was one of three Terrapins to score at least 15 points while also contributing in rebounds and assists. He scored in double figures in each of his last four appearances and averaged 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 36.8 minutes per game during that time.

Ayala and the Terps will now finish the regular season with matchups against Minnesota and Michigan State.
