Returning to Wolverines Cadeau will run it back with Michigan, per Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press.

Impact Cadeau came to Michigan after two seasons at North Carolina and saw his game develop exponentially. He greatly improved as a passer and as a three-point shooter, hitting 38 percent of his shots from distance while averaging a career-high 10.5 points per game. He elected to test the NBA Draft waters after leading the Wolverines to a national title, but he'll return to Ann Arbor as a senior and run the point for what should be another extremely dangerous Michigan team.

Impact Cadeau had a very strong junior season at Michigan after two years at North Carolina. In 2025-26, he averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists, leading the Wolverines to a national title. The point guard also shot 38 percent from downtown, taking a big leap in that category. He agreed to a deal -- likely a very lucrative one -- to return for his senior season. Over six NCAA Tournament games he averaged 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.7 steals across 32.3 minutes per game.
