Expected to sign G-League contract
Adogidi will reportedly sign with G-League Ignite, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports Wednesday.
Impact
Adogidi announced his decision to withdraw from the NBA draft earlier in the day, but it now appears the big man will be taking his talents to the G-League. Abogidi performed reasonably well during his time in Pullman, posting 8.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 2021. First career double-double
Abogidi posted 19 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 15 rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes in Friday's 82-54 win over Montana State.
Impact
It was the first career double-double for Abogidi, a freshman from Nigeria, who also played a career high 33 minutes in the rout. Abogidi saw an increased role in the offense due to an injury that caused Isaac Bonton to miss the game. He's shooting an impressive 55 percent from the field thus far and has also shown good range from deep.
