GAME LOG

Scores 22 in exhibition Miles led Vanderbilt with 22 points in an exhibition win over UAB on Thursday, Joel Dwyer of SI.com reports.
Impact Miles started 34 games for Oklahoma in 2024-25 and put up 9.4 points and 2.5 rebounds. He hit 43 percent of his 3-pointers, but only attempted 2.7 per game. The 6-2 senior may be asked to shoot more with the Commodores and he showed he was capable of big-time scoring when he averaged 17.5 points in 2023-24 with High Point.

Commits to Vanderbilt Miles has committed to Vanderbilt, according to Griffin McVeigh of On3.com.
Impact For the Vanderbilt team, Miles is a familiar player. The 2024-25 Southeastern Conference's regular season includes both Vandy and Oklahoma. During their latest matchup, Miles logged 11 points and two steals.

De-commits from Aggies Miles has de-committed from Texas A&M, per Tobias Bass of The Athletic.
Impact Miles transferred to Texas A&M after spending the 2024-2025 campaign with Oklahoma, averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 34 starts. He's since re-opened his recruitment.
MAY 2, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Lands with the Aggies Miles has announced his commitment to Texas A&M ahead of the 2025-26 season, Luke Evangelist of Tex Ags reports.
Impact Miles will move across the SEC to Texas A&M after spending last season with the Sooners. The 6-foot-2 senior, who previously appeared with Troy and High Point, started in all 34 games last season with Oklahoma, averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.4 steals on 24.6 minutes per game. Miles will look to secure a starting spot with the Aggies this offseason.

De-commits from Virginia Miles has de-commited from Virginia, according to Tobias Bass of The Athletic.
Impact Less than a week after Bass announced that Miles would transfer to Virginia, his decision changed. So again, he is part of the NCAA's transfer portal to search for another team.

Picks Virginia Miles will transfer to Virginia, per Tobias Bass of The Athletic.
Impact Miles spent the 2024-2025 campaign with Oklahoma, where he averaged 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals while starting all 34 games for the Sooners. The 6-foot-2 guard, who has one season of eligibility remaining, will be a heavy favorite to start for the Cavaliers next season.
APRIL 7, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Enters transfer portal Miles has entered the NCAA's transfer portal, according to Steve Samra of On3.com.
Impact Even though Miles has five seasons logged, two of them do not count toward his collegiate eligibility. COVID-19 limited the NCAA's 2020 campaign, so it does not count toward anyone's collegiate eligibility. Miles successfully redshirted his 2022-23 season.

Bottled up in loss Miles registered five points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) across 17 minutes during Friday's 67-59 loss to UConn.
Impact Miles only played 17 minutes in his start, but still was nearly virtually shut down. He didn't log a single stat outside of points, and was just 2-of-6 from the field regardless. Miles had been quiet towards the second half of the season, and that trend continued in the Sooners' Round of 64 loss to UConn. With that, Miles' college career is likely over.

Off injury report Miles (teeth) is not listed on the team's injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against Kentucky.
Impact Miles was questionable after suffering injuries to his teeth during the previous matchup but will be good to go for this game. The senior guard has started every game this season and has totaled 19 points across his last three performances.
FEBRUARY 25, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with teeth injuries Miles suffered an injury to his teeth during Saturday's 93-87 victory against Mississippi State, Kyle Boone of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Miles lost parts of two of his teeth as he dove for a ball and took a hard hit on the ground. He was able to come back into the game to help seal the victory, setting the expectation for him to be available for Wednesday's game against Kentucky, however, more news should surface during the coming days to provide clarity on his status.

Almost a non-factor Miles closed Tuesday's 85-63 loss to Florida with four points (2-4 FG) and one steal across 15 minutes.
Impact Miles played just 15 minutes in the start as he accumulated four fouls and the Sooners got blown out by Florida. The point guard, like Oklahoma as a whole, has been pretty inconsistent this season and this dud against the Gators is the latest example. He can drop the occasional big scoring line (29 points against Central Arkansas earlier this season, for example) and remains pesky on defense, averaging 1.7 steals. Still, his inconsistency makes him hard to trust from a fantasy perspective.
FEBRUARY 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Cooling off scoring-wise Miles contributed two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 75-68 loss to Texas A&M.
Impact Miles has scored a combined 18 points over his last four games. He's still finding ways to contribute on the glass and as a facilitator, but he's scoring 5.4 points-per-game fewer in SEC play. He'll need to pick it up to help the Sooners try to go on a run in conference play to save their NCAA tournament hopes.

Prairie View A&M visits No. 12 Oklahoma after Miles' 29-point showing

No. 12 Oklahoma takes on the Prairie View A&M Panthers after Duke Miles scored 29 points in Oklahoma's 89-66 win against the Central Arkansas Bears

Explodes for 29 Miles amassed 29 points (11-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Sunday's 89-66 victory over Central Arkansas.
Impact Miles went off against Central Arkansas. He took a season-high 17 shots, and hithis most threes (four) since the opener. The guard has been especially deadly from beyond the arc this season, hitting 45.1 percent of his shots from distance. That's his best mark since the 2022-2023 season with Troy. Miles will remain a critical part of the Sooners' offensive attack heading into SEC play.

Making an impact in Norman Miles is averaging 9.9 ppg across 24.4 mpg through nine games (all starts) for the Sooners in 2024-25.
Impact Not surprisingly, Miles has seen his scoring average drop from his days at Troy and High Point, but he still remains a key contributor as the primary shooting guard for the undefeated Sooners. Since he's not the focal point of the offense, his efficiency has crept up a bit, as Miles is knocking down a career-best 47.1 percent of his three-pointers. Oklahoma next faces in-state rivals Oklahoma State on Saturday before another key non-conference matchup against Michigan the following Wednesday.

Returns to court Thursday Miles scored 14 points (6/12 FG, 2/5 3PT) and recorded one rebound and one assist in Thursday's 93-76 win over Longwood.
Impact Miles returned to the court Thursday after missing the past three games for undisclosed reasons. He started the game and played 25 minutes -- his fewest since Nov. 26 -- and scored 14 points on 50 percent shooting. He set a season-low with just one assist as well. While it was not a dazzling performance from him, it's a positive sign to see him back on the floor.
