Out due to COVID-19 Gueye was one of five players to miss Thursday's game against Appalachian State after testing positive for COVID-19, Jamarcus Fitzpatrick of KATC TV3 reports.

Impact Gueye was notably missing from the starting lineup ahead of tip-off after he had started three of the last four games. The 6-9 senior was one of five players put in health and safety protocols and is in danger of potentially missing an additional three games while in isolation. He's averaging 4.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per contest.
