Impact Burns not only led the Wolfpack in scoring Monday, but he was the highest-scoring player in the entire game despite the fact NC State still lost by a 15-point margin. Burns also bounced back from two subpar scoring performances last week, going scoreless against the Seminoles and scoring six points vs. UNC. Burns will aim to end the regular season on a strong note against Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Impact Burns played a massive role on offense for the Wolfpack, and aside from finishing with more than 20 points for the second straight game, he's also scored at least 15 points in each of his last five outings. He had a three-game stretch in which he came off the bench at the beginning of January, but the senior has looked dominant since returning to the starting lineup. He's averaging 18.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game over his last 12 outings.
