Extends Texans win streak to eight Barnes racked up 33 points (11-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-10 FT), five rebounds, two assists and three steals over 38 minutes during Saturday's 82-65 win over California Baptist.

Impact Barnes scored 22 in a key victory over Grand Canyon earlier this week and now has a career-best 33-point game on his resume. The win propelled the Texans to within a half-game of Grand Canyon for the top spot in the WAC, but unfortunately, Tarleton State is ineligible to play in the NCAA Tournament, as the program is in its fourth and final transition year from the Division II to Division I level.
