Doesn't play Saturday
Claude (ankle) didn't play Saturday in Washington's 80-63 loss to Michigan State.
Impact
Claude had announced that he was stepping away from basketball due to ankle and knee injuries on Friday night, but he was curiously listed as questionable on the Big Ten injury report ahead of the clash with Michigan State. Claude, unsurprisingly given his prior announcement, didn't play and it now appears that his inclusion on the injury report was a clerical error or something of that nature. He should be considered out for the season.

Listed as questionable Saturday
Claude (ankle) holds a questionable designation for Saturday's game against Michigan State, per the Big Ten availability report.
Impact
Claude indicated earlier in the week he would step away from the team to prioritize his health, so his questionable listing for Saturday is a bit surprising. It's possible the report was made prior to Friday's report from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that he is stepping away. Barring something unforeseen, it's best to assume Claude will be sidelined Saturday and additional contests in the future.

Stepping away for health reasons
Claude (ankle/knee) will step away from "all on-court activities and prioritize (my) health," according to a statement he released per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Claude tore multiple ligaments in his ankle during preseason practice, which forced him to miss the first four games of the season. He returned to action on Nov. 18 and has played in 12 games this season, notching nine starts and averaging 13.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists. However, according to the guard's statement, his early return made his ankle injury worse and he's also sustained an extraneous knee ailment. Claude appears to be stepping away from basketball indefinitely.

Available for Huskies
Claude (personal) is available for Washington on Wednesday against Michigan.
Impact
Claude missed Washington's win over Ohio State, but he's back in action for the Huskies on Wednesday night. That's big news in Seattle, as Claude will look to help hand No. 4 Michigan its second straight loss. The senior guard averages 14.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

Held out Sunday
Claude (personal) did not play during Sunday's contest due to personal reasons, per Roman Tomashoff of USAToday.com.
Impact
Claude was previously held out of practice on Saturday for personal reasons and was unable to suit up on Sunday. The 6-foot-6 senior has been a star for the Huskies this season, averaging 14.5 points per game across 11 contests since trasnferring in from USC in the off-season. The details of the situation are currently unknown, but his next chance to return will come against Michigan on Wednesday.

Drops 18 in loss
Claude finished Sunday's 90-80 loss to Indiana with 18 points (5-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and one rebound over 32 minutes.
Impact
Claude needed 15 shots to hit 18 points, so it wasn't the most efficient outing for the star guard. And while he wasn't a factor on the glass or as a passer, he did can multiple three-pointers for just the second time this season. Ultimately, the Huskies need Claude to be more than just a scorer, which he was unable to do as Washington fell to Indiana. He'll look for better efficiency and a more all-around performance when the Huskies travel to West Lafayette to face Purdue.

Season-high against former team
Claude ended with 22 points (8-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 84-76 win over USC.
Impact
Claude's game log has been a bit volatile since returning from an ankle injury that forced him to miss the first four games of the season. It looked like he was back in a starting role in late-November, but he came off the bench Dec. 3 against UCLA, scoring just five points and committing four turnover across 20 minute in a losing effort. His role and production did a complete 180 just three days later, as he started, logged a season-best scoring total and only turned the ball over once against USC, his former team. It's possible the "revenge game" narrative played a role, but fantasy managers will get a chance to see if that heavy usage holds when Washington faces Southern Utah on Saturday. A proven high-volume scorer, Claude has the potential to be a significant fantasy asset if he can get his shooting percentage back up to the level of previous seasons.

Working into Washington offense
Claude closed Friday's 81-68 loss to Colorado with 14 points (6-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes.
Impact
Claude made his 2025-26 season debut back on Nov. 18 when he scored 20 points off the bench against Southern. He returned to the starting lineup for the first game of the Acrisure Holiday Classic on Thursday, but the senior was held to just two points on 1-of-9 shooting. He had more success Friday due to high shot volume, but it appears he still needs some time to gel in the Washington offense after averaging 15.8 ppg last season with USC.

Scores 20 points in return
Claude (ankle) produced 20 points (6-14 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 99-93 2OT win over Southern University.
Impact
Claude was spotted in warmups, and even though he didn't start, he finished as the team's second-highest scorer behind Wesley Yates, who finished with 23 points. Claude should eventually return to the starting lineup, possibly as early as Thursday, Nov. 27, against Nevada.

Warming up, not starting
Claude (ankle) is participating in pregame shootaround, but he isn't listed in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Southern, Aaron Coe of emeraldcityspectrum reports.
Impact
Claude hasn't appeared in a game this season due to an ankle injury. However, the USC transfer is participating in Washington's pregame festivities, which is a good sign. His participation does not guarantee he'll play Tuesday, and even if he does take the floor, his absence from the starting lineup indicates he'd likely be limited.

Spotted in early warmups
Claude (ankle) was spotted in early warmups ahead of Tuesday's game against Southern, Aaron Coe of Emerald City Spectrum reports.
Impact
Seeing Claude on the court during the early warmups is certainly encouraging. If he stays during the entire shootaround, his chances of playing Tuesday would increase dramatically.

Questionable Tuesday
Claude (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Southern.
Impact
Claude has yet to play for the Huskies this season, and the questionable tag suggests a decision on his status will be made closer to the 9:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Claude averaged 15.8 points, 3.5 boards and 4.2 assists for USC last season, so he should be a valuable contributor for Washington once he's ready to play.

Impact
Claude will miss yet another game for the Huskies due to a lingering ankle injury. The 6-foot-6 senior has yet to play a game for Washington after transferring in from USC in the off-season, where he averaged 15.8 points and 4.3 assists per game last season. His next opportunity to return will come against Washington State on Friday.

Out vs. Denver
Claude (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against Denver, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Based on previous experience, Claude is Washington's most promising option, so him not being available will provide UW a tougher challenge Thursday. After the Denver-Washington game, UW will prepare for a Sunday night game at Baylor, which will mark the Huskies' first Power Conference opponent this season. Without him available, it looks like JJ Mandaquit will remain Washington's starter at point guard.
