Julius Halaifonua - Scores 11 in Wednesday's win Halaifonua posted 11 points (5-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes during Wednesday's 70-61 win over DePaul.
Impact After scoring exactly two points in three consecutive games, Halaifonua bounced back Wednesday with 11 points. He made all five of his attempts from the field, including one three-pointer. It's been a tale of two seasons for Halaifonua as he started off the season very well, averaging 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds across 25.2 minutes per game through the first 13 games of the season. He's seen a significant dip in production and playing time though, only averaging 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game across his last eight contests. Much of this can be explained by the return of Vince Iwuchukwu, as much of Halaifonua's production came when Iwuchukwu was out. It seems as long as Iwuchukwu is healthy, Halaifonua won't be able to produce at the same level.

Malik Mack - Productive in Wednesday's win Mack registered 16 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), two rebounds and seven assists in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 70-61 victory over DePaul.
Impact Mack put together a good performance Wednesday as he led the Hoyas in points and assists on the way to securing the team's second straight win. He went an impressive 10-10 from the free throw line on his way to scoring 16 points. He also recorded seven assists for the fifth time this season and did that with only one turnover. Mack has not lit up the box scores so far this season, however he's been a consistent performer on the offensive end and has proven his ability to put together very good performances like he did on Wednesday.

Brandon Maclin - Drops 19 off bench Maclin produced 19 points (8-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 70-61 loss to Georgetown.
Impact Maclin scored a season-best 19 points off the bench Wednesday, also setting season highs in field goals made (eight) and attempted (15). It marked his seventh consecutive game with double digit points off the bench, an impressive mark of consistency for a non-starter. Over that stretch he's averaging 13.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 28.4 minutes per game.
JANUARY 29 ROTOWIRE
RJ Smith - Scores 13 in loss Smith closed Wednesday's 70-61 loss to Georgetown with 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 31 minutes.
Impact Smith tied a season high with 13 points in Saturday's loss, the majority of which came on his three made three-pointers. He also logged four assists for just the fifth time this season and set a new season-high with two steals. It was a solid performance for the point guard and at this point appears to be the celling for him given his relatively low volume.
JANUARY 29 ROTOWIRE
Langston Love - Unavailable Wednesday Love (undisclosed) is out Wednesday against DePaul.
Impact Love hasn't missed a game since the opener, but that'll change Wednesday against the Blue Demons. The senior guard averages just 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds; he isn't the biggest loss for the Hoyas.
