Javon Bennett - Granted year of eligibility Bennett has been granted a preliminary injunction in Ohio which gives him eligibility for the 2026-27 season, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Bennett is eligible to play a fifth collegiate season as a result of this court ruling. He spent the last three seasons as a regular started for Dayton, most recently averaging 15.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists across 34.5 minutes per game last season. The injunction opens up a transfer portal window in case he wants to find a new school, but he can still stay with Dayton if he chooses.

Impact Joseph had a very solid freshman year with the Thundering Herd. He earned a bench role immediately, averaging 7.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists across 17.7 minutes. He also shot 41.3 percent from deep on 3.0 attempts per game. Now, the 6-foot-2 guard will take his talents to the Flyers with three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Grant Randall - Commits to Dayton Randall has committed to Dayton, according to PortalUpdates.

Impact Randall will transfer colleges from Quinnipiac. During the 2025-26 Bobcats' season, he not only logged 11.4 points per game but also averaged 6.6 rebounds. Randall will look to do the same but for an even bigger team in Dayton.

Tristian Ford - Commits to Dayton Ford (redshirt) has committed to Dayton, according to PortalUpdates.

Impact As part of Murray State, Ford redshirted his 2025-26 season. The freshman will transfer colleges.

Zaide Lowery - Commits to Dayton Lowery has committed to Dayton, The Field of 68 reports.

Impact Lowery spent the last three years of his career at Marquette, and the 2025-26 season was the best of his career since he averaged 8.1 ppg. He should contend for rotation minutes, and possibly start, at Dayton.

Jalen Haynes - Commits to Dayton Haynes (knee) committed to Dayton on Thursday, Joe Tipton of On3.com reports.

Impact Haynes will look to start fresh with the Flyers after missing the entire 2025-26 season with a knee injury. Prior to the injury, he was a double-digit scorer in back-to-back campaigns and will look to provide some scoring production in his new threads.

Travis Perry - Commits to Dayton Perry has committed to Dayton, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Impact Perry has found his third school in as many years as he joins Dayton for his junior season. He made 35 appearances (16 starts) for Ole Miss his past season, averaging 5.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 16.5 minutes per game. He made 31 appearances (four starts) as a freshman for Kentucky. The former four-star recruit has a good chance to start right away for the Flyers.

Jaron McKie - Remaining at Dayton McKie (shoulder) will return to Dayton in 2026-27, per David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News.

Impact McKie missed his entire freshman year after undergoing shoulder surgery, but the 6-foot-3 guard will return to the Flyers for his redshirt freshman campaign and will have a full four years of eligibility remaining in his college career.

Amaël L'Etang - Staying at Dayton L'Etang will return to Dayton for the 2026 campaign, per his X account.

Impact L'Etang is coming off a solid season, averaging 11.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks across 33 games. The 7-foot-1 center has two remaining year of eligibility.
