Impact McCormack appeared off the bench in each of the last three contests but will retake his spot in the starting unit Saturday, sending K.J. Adams back to the bench. The senior hasn't played particularly well of late, tallying just five total points in 24 minutes over the last two contests.

Impact McCormack has played just 10 minutes in now two of the last three games. He has been a big disappointment this season after a great junior season that saw him averaging 13.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Mitch Lightfoot will get the start at center for Kansas' opening game of Big 12 play, but it would be a surprise if that became a trend over the next few weeks.

Impact McCormack dealt with an ankle injury in practice this week, but looked just fine a renewed rivalry game against Missouri. Over the last four games, the big man is putting up 11.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. Kansas has a ton of weapons on the perimeter that they have played a little less through the post than last year.

Impact McCormack had been dealing with an ankle injury recently, but he was able to take part in Thursday's practice session after his inflammation subsided. He's started each of the Jayhawks' first eight games of the season and has averaged 9.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per contest.
