Impact Williams struggled significantly from the field yet still had a major positive impact for the Red Raiders, collecting eight boards and a career-high 11 assists. Williams averaged 11.4 points and 7.5 rebounds and an incremental step forward this season would be expected. However, the assist totals through two games are eye opening as he has 17 through two games after having averaged 2.7 and 2.5 assists during his first two collegiate seasons. It was not expected that he would be the primary ball distributor for Texas Tech, but that's exactly what he's been through two games. If this new role continues for Williams, he will be one of the true breakout fantasy in the country this season.
