In concussion protocol Baugh was held out of Sunday's game against Tulsa since he's in the concussion protocol, Danielle Lerner of DailyMemphian.com reports.

Impact A reason for Baugh's absence wasn't provided prior to Sunday's contest, but coach Penny Hardaway revealed after the game that he's in the concussion protocol after a collision at practice earlier in the week. It's not yet clear whether he'll be ready to return Thursday against Wichita State.

Impact There hasn't been a report as to what's keeping Baugh out of warmups and ultimately from playing Sunday. His absence could stem from the team's previous outing in which Baugh inexplicably saw a season-low five minutes of action despite averaging 20.6 minutes per game over the last eight games. The 6-3 sophomore missed a game earlier in the season with a back injury although nothing so far has indicated that his absence is related to that issue. With Baugh unavailable, Alex Lomax and Boogie Ellis should see some increased usage in the backcourt.
