Productive off bench Hall recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one block over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 victory over Arizona State.

Impact Hall came off the bench to contribute 23 productive minutes, going 5-for-8 from the field including a couple of triples en route to a solid 13 point performance. The junior guard added four helpers, a couple of boards and a blocked shot while shooting better than 50-percent from the field for just the second time this season when taking at least five shot attempts. Hall remains a solid contributor for BYU but has seen a production dip across the board this season, thanks in part to the arrival of freshman sensation Egor Demin. However, he's stepped things up a bit over the last four games, averaging 10.8 points, 5.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting 48.4-percent from the floor.

Impact Hall was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and subsequently matched a season high with 14 points during Tuesday's win. The junior guard was moved to the bench prior to his last game but has maintained his standard amount of time on the floor, playing 24 and 28 minutes across the last two games. Impact Hall hasn't been much of a factor for the Cougars in his last three games, scoring a combined 16 points with a 4:7 assist-to-turnover ratio. That sloppiness has led head coach Kevin Young to make a switch in his starting five, going with the senior Knell over Hall. His next chance to rejoin the starting five will come on Jan. 14 against Oklahoma State.

It's the third time in seven games this season Hall has reached double figures though he's also had three games with four or fewer points. Impact Unsurprisingly, Hall and Egor Demin were BYU's starting backcourt Saturday against Mississippi Valley State. In terms of average, the junior's latest game is similar to his sophomore season. Hall averaged 9.0 points, 5.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds and one steal during it. The biggest difference is his scoring, perhaps improved by how well he shot from deep. Hall averaged 1.5 three-pointers made as a sophomore.
