Layden Blocker - Scores 11 off the bench Wednesday Blocker accumulated 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 72-71 victory over Creighton.
Impact Blocker came off the bench for the second time this season Wednesday, but he still put together a good performance. He was involved in a crucial play too as he assisted Brandon Maclin's game-winning layup with seven seconds remaining in the game. It's unclear what prompted Blocker's move to the bench, but he still played 32 minutes, so the change did not affect the rotation much, if it all.

Brandon Maclin - Hits game-winner Wednesday Maclin finished Wednesday's 72-71 victory over Creighton with 17 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, five assists and two steals across 34 minutes.
Impact Maclin started Wednesday's contest, his first start since Nov. 29. He made massive contributions in the game, most importantly the game-winning layup with seven seconds to go which broke DePaul's four-game losing streak. He scored 17 points in his second straight game and provided five assists for just the fourth time this season. There's a good chance Maclin stays in the starting five for the foreseeable future, especially considering he's been playing starter-level minutes across his last 11 appearances off the bench.

NJ Benson - Leads win over Creighton Benson produced 23 points (10-11 FG, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 72-71 victory over Creighton.
Impact Benson recorded his third double-double of the season Wednesday, his first since the first two games of this season. It was his best performance of the campaign as he scored 23 points for just the second time this season and did so while hitting 10 of his 11 attempts from the field. Every single point and rebound was crucial too as the Blue Demons squeaked out a one-point win to end the four-game losing streak.

Nik Graves - Eight assists versus DePaul Graves closed Wednesday's 72-71 loss to DePaul with nine points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 30 minutes.
Impact Graves recorded eight assists for just the second time this season Wednesday, chipping in nine points on the offensive end. He did not shoot the ball well though, only hitting one of seven field goal attempts. He had a chance to win the game at the end, but his three-point attempt at the buzzer missed. He's been productive since rejoining the starting lineup on Jan. 31, averaging 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists across those four games. He'll look to keep that going Saturday versus Villanova.

Josh Dix - Scores 13 in Wednesday's loss Dix posted 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 72-71 loss to DePaul.
Impact Dix put together a solid performance Wednesday as he scored 13 points and hit three triples in the close loss. He also grabbed five rebounds -- his most since Jan. 4 -- and recorded one steal on the defensive end. Dix had a very poor three-game stretch at the end of January into the beginning of February, but he appears to have put that behind him with back-to-back solid performances.
