Eligible right away at EKU Robb received a waiver Thursday from the NCAA and will be eligible to compete immediately at Eastern Kentucky, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports. Impact Robb committed to the Colonels back in March, just a few days after he announced he was moving on from Charlotte following his sophomore season and entering the transfer portal. Since he left Charlotte without his degree, Robb wasn't a lock to receive a waiver, but the NCAA apparently looked favorably on his case. He saw his playing time with the 49ers drop from 29.8 minutes per game as a freshman to 21.2 in 2019-20, but Robb should see an enhanced role at Eastern Kentucky over his final two years of eligibility. At the very least, he'll provide the Colonels with a sharpshooter on the perimeter, as he's knocked down 38.1 percent of his career three-point attempts.
