Impact Robb missed the last two games for the Colonels with a foot injury but was back in the starting five Thursday and put up his best single-game scoring total since Jan. 12. With its fifth win in the last six games, Eastern Kentucky is now two games out of the top spot in the Atlantic Sun.

Eligible right away at EKU Robb received a waiver Thursday from the NCAA and will be eligible to compete immediately at Eastern Kentucky, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Robb committed to the Colonels back in March, just a few days after he announced he was moving on from Charlotte following his sophomore season and entering the transfer portal. Since he left Charlotte without his degree, Robb wasn't a lock to receive a waiver, but the NCAA apparently looked favorably on his case. He saw his playing time with the 49ers drop from 29.8 minutes per game as a freshman to 21.2 in 2019-20, but Robb should see an enhanced role at Eastern Kentucky over his final two years of eligibility. At the very least, he'll provide the Colonels with a sharpshooter on the perimeter, as he's knocked down 38.1 percent of his career three-point attempts.
