Tucker DeVries - Scores 22 as Bulldogs clinch DeVries produced 22 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 77-51 victory over Bradley.

Impact DeVries has been the leading scorer for Drake this season at 19.0 ppg and has also managed to improve upon that in the postseason, posting games of 27, 12 and 22 games (20.3 ppg) through three outings in the MVC Tournament. The son of head coach Darrian DeVries, Tucker is the only underclassmen in an experienced Drake starting lineup and will be the driving factor if the team is able to pull a first-round upset.

Darnell Brodie - Major rebounder down stretch Brodie ended Sunday's 77-51 victory over Bradley with 12 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 26 minutes.

Impact Brodie picked up 26 combined rebounds between the MVC semifinals and title games, helping the nation's No. 4 team in defensive rebounding rate clinch a conference title and NCAA Tournament automatic bid. The senior is having his best year out of three solid seasons with the Bulldogs, posting averages of 8.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks (all career highs). He's also shooting an impressive 53.1 percent from the field across 34 games started.

Issa Samake - Sidelined most of 2022-23 Samake hasn't appeared since Dec. 21, which was his first action since missing all of the 2021-22 season with a knee injury (per the Des Moines Register).

Impact While Samake was productive (eight points, seven rebounds) in his only appearance of the season, it doesn't appear the 6-8 forward has been healthy enough to contribute since. Drake has still been a top-5 defensive rebounding team in the country without his services, due largely to contributions from Darnell Brodie (7.3 rpg), Garrett Sturtz (6.3 rpg) and Tucker DeVries (5.6 rpg). While Samake continues to support the squad from the sidelines, it seems unlikely he'll be able to contribute in the postseason.
