CJ Hines - 20-piece to claim SWAC Title Hines provided 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals across 33 minutes during Saturday's 60-56 win over Jackson State. Impact Hines' 20 points were a team high for the Hornets; in fact, no one else scored in double figures. He hit four triples to match his season high from distance, and he was a defensive nuisance with three steals as well. Alabama State has other capable scorers, most notably TJ Madlock and Amarr Knox, but Hines shoots a team-high 43.1 percent from the field. He'll be the scorer to monitor in Alabama State's March Madness run.
