The 6-foot-10 center averaged 7.9 points and 3.2 boards across 18.6 minutes last year in his first season in Boulder but if Monday is any indication, appears to have an expanded role in store this season for the Buffaloes.

Andrew Crawford - On court for exhibition game
Crawford (redshirt) has been on the court for Sunday's game against Grace College, according to Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera.
Impact
Crawford redshirted the NCAA's 2024-25 season, so the 2025-26 campaign will use the first of his four years of collegiate eligibility available. Based on how Colorado used him Sunday, he looks to be a depth piece, though approximately how much the guard will play is still not decipherable.

Sebastian Rancik - Out for exhibition game
Rancik (ankle) is out for Sunday's exhibition game against Grace College, according to Oliver Hayes of BuffStampede.com.
Impact
Rancik out for Sunday's exhibition game means that he will not have any in-game preparation before Colorado's 2025-26 season begins. That is also only under the case that Rancik is available for CU's season opener, which comes Nov. 3 against Montana State. Rancik may be in line for more consistent starting time this year, so getting healthy as soon as possible is paramount.

Sebastian Rancik - Dealing with sprained ankle
Rancik is dealing with a sprained ankle, according to Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera.
Impact
Colorado's 2024-25 season was capped off with a Rancik leg injury, and it is unclear whether that same problem is a recurring issue. Regardless, because of his more defined injury, he is likely to miss CU's open-to-public intrasquad scrimmage scheduled for Saturday. But with Rancik's current problem unlikely to be a long-term setback, it looks like he may be available when the 2025-26 Buffaloes begin their regular season in November.
