Looking to transfer Ray entered the transfer portal Tuesday and is expected to leave La Salle, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Impact Ray was one of a handful of La Salle players to hit the transfer portal Tuesday after the Explorers' season recently concluded. He appeared in 29 games and made 18 starts during the 2021-22 campaign, averaging 5.0 points, 6.9 boards and 1.7 assists in 28.1 minutes.

Starting Saturday Ray (undisclosed) will start Saturday against VCU Wayne Epps Jr. of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

Impact Ray is set to start in his return to action after missing La Salle's last game on Dec. 30. The 6-foot-6 guard has started in all 10 games which he has been active for, averaging 5.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game for the Explorers. Ray's nose for the ball, and ability to get rebounds as a guard will be welcomed back to La Salle's lineup.

Impact Ray has been flirting with double-doubles lately, but finally notched his first in this outing. The production here is wildly inconsistent, as he's hit double-digit points just twice in his last six games, but he's still averaged a reasonable 9.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg, and may be the preferred option if forced to use an Explorer in your lineup.

Impact A little more efficiency would have had Ray posting his first double-double of the year. He's reached double-digit points four times to date, three of which have come in the Explorers last six games. Ray has also pulled down 20 boards in his last two outings and is clearly trending upward in the season's latter portion.

Impact It was another ugly outing for the Explorers, who scored only 42 points and didn't put a player in double-digits. Ray has't started any of La Salle's last eight games, and he along with all of his teammates are off nearly all fantasy radars.

Impact Ray has come off of the bench in five straight after starting four in a row. He's proven capable of these types of diverse stat lines, but is far too inconsistent and a scoring liability to be considered in most fantasy formats.
