Active Thursday Agnew (not injury related) closed Thursday's 69-64 victory over UTSA with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) over three minutes.

Impact Agnew returned to action Thursday but was limited to just three minutes in his return. The 6-foot-2 junior had missed the last four games for UTEP while recovering from COVID-19. Agnew has started seven games for the Miners, contributing 5.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals on 16.8 minutes per game. UTEP will take on UTSA again this Sunday where it is expected that Agnew will return to his normal role in the rotation.

Impact Agnew returned to practice Monday after missing the last four games for UTEP in COVID-19 protocols. The 6-foot-2 junior has started seven games this season, putting up 5.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals on 18.1 minutes per game. He's likely to return to action Thursday when UTEP takes on UTSA.

Impact Agnew began his second season with the Miners as a member of the starting five, but he had yet to eclipse the 20-minute mark and was seemingly demoted to a bench role prior to the apparent protocol issue. Regardless of what role he'll be looking at upon his return, the team seems optimistic that both he and teammate Souley Boum will be cleared in advance of a Dec. 3 matchup against New Mexico State.
