Records second double double
Cenac logged 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one block across 29 minutes during Saturday's 82-67 win over Florida State.
Impact
Cenac flashed on Saturday, recording his second career double double, the first time he's accomplished the feat since opening night. The freshman big man had been struggling offensively over the previous three games, tallying a total of 17 points, though he also added 25 boards to maintain fantasy relevancy over that stretch. Cenac is an important cog to the Houston engine, pairing with Joseph Tuggle to give the Cougars elite front-court potential to go along with their dynamic back court. He's now averaging 9.7 points and 8.0 rebounds across 24.9 points per contest.

Continues impressive start
Cenac supplied 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), nine rebounds and one block in 26 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 73-72 win over Auburn.
Impact
Cenac showed off his all-around game Sunday, shooting 80-percent from the floor and 66.7-percent from three while finishing just one rebound shy of his second double double of the season. The 18 points represented a career high for the freshman forward, who has been very impressive thus far for the Cougars. Cenac has reached double figures in scoring three times and has twice cleaned the glass for 10 or more boards, averaging 10.8 points and 9.0 rebounds across 25 minutes while starting each of the first four games this season.

Posts double double in debut
Cenac registered 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one block and one steal across 26 minutes during Monday's 75-57 victory over Lehigh.
Impact
Cenac earned a starting nod for the defending Big 12 champs and proceeded to begin his collegiate career with a double double. The sixth-ranked player on the ESPN 100 is the highest-rated recruit during the modern era of Houston basketball and did not disappoint in his first performance, also adding a block and a steal as the Cougars cruised to victory.

Nears double-double in exhibition
Cenac went for nine points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, four steals and a block in Sunday's exhibition game against Mississippi State.
Impact
Cenac is a five-star recruit and expected to take a lot of the production voided from the loss of J'wan Roberts. Frontcourt partner Joseph Tugler had a big game as well going for a team-high 17 points while also adding seven boards. Tugler was last year's Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and his presence does limit some of Cenac's upside. That said, the 6-11 freshman is extremely talented and should be able to carve out his own role in this system, even for a Houston team predicated on defense. The Cougars kick off the season Nov. 3 against Lehigh.
