Scores season-high 17 Weaver racked up 17 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 102-97 win over North Carolina State.

Impact Coach Archie Miller shortened the rotation and only played eight players in the win over the Wolfpack. Weaver set season highs across the board. He had only hit one 3-pointer and scored in double digits coming into Wednesday's game. The 6-3 senior has played at least 20 minutes since the opener, but maybe the performance against North Carolina State will garner him more minutes going forward.

Impact Weaver missed 15 games last season with a groin injury. The 6-3 guard was limited to three points and three rebounds in the opening loss to Duke. He adds a great deal to the Longhorn defense, which will be important in SEC regular season play. For now, Weaver can hope to ramp up to near starter minutes in the non-conference slate.
