Impact Evans was buried on the Aztecs' bench last season, only appearing in 10 games and averaging 4.1 mpg. After not taking the court at all thus far in 2021-22, he'll elect to transfer and likely won't be eligible until the start of the 2022-23 season.

Drops dime in one minute Evans recorded one assist in one minute of action during Tuesday's 74-49 win over St. Mary's.

Impact Evans also committed a turnover during his single minute on the court Tuesday. The freshman was inactive the past two games due to COVID-19 contact tracing, but he's since been cleared. Evans doesn't hold a large role on the team, and he figures to only make appearances once games are out of hand.

Doesn't make trip to Tempe Evans is not available to play in Thursday's game against Arizona State due to COVID-19 contact tracing, Mark Zeigler of The San Diego Times reports.

Impact Keshad Johnson and Keith Dinwiddie also didn't make the trip because of contact tracing. Evans was unlikely to play much if at all against the Sun Devils anyway, but will hope to be able to return by the Dec. 18 matchup against BYU.
