Tennessee basketball trolls Alabama after beating Tide, Charles Bediako
Tennessee got its jokes off on social media after beating Alabama basketball and Charles Bediako on Saturday.

Scores 13 in debut
Bediako notched 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 25 minutes during Saturday's 79-73 loss to Tennessee.
Impact
Bediako, a 6-11 senior, returned to Alabama after a three-year absence in which he played in the G League. He looks like he will provide quality depth to the Tide frontcourt and may help the team's defense. He received extra run in his debut because Aiden Sherrell fouled out after just 22 minutes. Bediako is worth monitoring, but should not be a must add in most leagues.

Plans to play Saturday
Head coach Nate Oats plans to play Bediako during Saturday's matchup against Tennessee, per Jeff Goodman of On3.com.
Impact
Bediako recently received a temporary restraining order to allow him to play for the Crimson Tide following two seasons in the G League after going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. Bediako most recently played in a G League game last Saturday, where he logged five minutes. A final decision on his overall eligibility is expected to be made on Tuesday, but until then he is expected to suit up for the Crimson Tide.

Eligible for Alabama
Bediako has been granted a temporary restraining order and is eligible for Alabama games, according to Nick Kelly of On3.
Impact
Bediako declared for the 2023 NBA Draft following two seasons with Alabama, but after going undrafted, he spent two-plus years attempting to make it big in the professional ranks before ultimately falling short. The seven-footer has attempted to make a return to college, and his temporary restraining order indicates that a return looks possible. Bediako last played for the 2022-23 Tide, averaging 6.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, and would re-enroll at Alabama to help boost the team's depth down low.

Almost logs double-double
Bediako (undisclosed) posted 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 78-76 OT win over South Carolina.
Impact
Despite practicing in a limited sense Monday, Bediako was able to play without any problems at South Carolina. He was only rebound short of logging his second double-double. Bediako is expected to be more of a better scorer and an excellent rebounder as tournament games inch closer.

Logs limited practice
Bediako (undisclosed) was a limited participant during Monday's practice, Mike Rodak of AL.com reports.
Impact
Bediako is dealing with an undisclosed injury ahead of Wednesday's matchup with South Carolina. The 7-foot sophomore has started in all 27 games this season, logging 5.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks on 20.1 minutes per game. Bediako's expected status for the contest is unknown, but head coach, Nate Oats, is optimistic that Bediako will be able to log a full practice on Tuesday.

Records two blocks
Bediako finished Saturday's 108-59 win over Georgia with six points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 13 minutes.
Impact
Bediako was a consistent defender mid-February, as he logged two blocks across each of the three games Alabama played during the period. Bediako is one of those players more instrumental to his team than fantasy managers. Heading into this season's final stretch and tournament play, fantasy managers should consider him a supplementary option who can log some valuable tallies of rebounds and blocks.

Starting against Georgia
Bediako (knee) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Georgia.
Impact
Bediako was labeled as a game-time decision after failing to practice following Wednesday's loss to Tennessee, and while he was not expected to be completely healthy for this game, the coaching staff has trusted in him after he looked good to go in warmups. For what it's worth, Bediako has yet to miss a game this season.

Warming up Saturday
Bediako (knee) is going through early warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Georgia, Charlie Potter of 247Sports reports.
Impact
Bediako was labeled as a game-time decision after failing to practice following Wednesday's loss to Tennessee. Even if active, it's highly unlikely the 7-0 sophomore is a full-go as head coach Nate Oats alluded to the fact that they want him back to 100 percent as quickly as possible. The Tide lack some depth in the frontcourt and could opt to move Noah Gurley back into the starting five in place of Bediako.

Questionable to play Saturday
Bediako (knee) will be a game time decision in Saturday's game against Georgia, Mike Rodak of AL.com reports.
Impact
Bediako did not practice towards the end of the week while rehabbing his injured knee. His status for Saturday is uncertain, if he plays, it appears he may be a limited participant. Bediako leads the team in blocks, averaging 1.7 per game.

Starting Wednesday
Bediako (knee) is listed in Alabama's starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's showdown with Tennessee.
Impact
Bediako, who has been dealing with a knee injury throughout the week, will start against the Volunteers. The 7-foot sophomore, who has contributed 5.6 points, 5.3 assists and 1.6 blocks on 20.5 minutes per game, may be limited during the contest given his recent injury.

Spotted warming up
Bediako (knee) was seen warming up Wednesday evening as Alabama travels to Tennessee for a huge SEC clash, per Charlie Potter of 247Sports.
Impact
Bediako was reportedly trending towards playing tonight, and it looks as if the center is one step closer to making that a reality. The seven-footer has started every game for the Crimson Tide, and while his numbers don't jump off the stat sheet, he's a big part of what Alabama does on both ends of the court. Bediako is putting up 5.6 points and 5.3 assists, and Crimson Tide will likely need him against one of the better defenses in the country in Tennessee.
