Impact Matthews saw 10 starts in 31 appearances for the Bulldogs last season, so it's not too surprising to see him get the nod with presumed starters Tolu Smith (foot) and Rocket Watts (hip) both sidelined. It also seems as if the 6-7 wing could have a big role helping out on the glass, at least until Smith returns and they shift to a taller lineup. Smith also made contributions in the ancillary categories that fantasy players crave, though his five field goal attempts were the second-fewest of any Bulldogs starters.

Impact Matthews did not enter Wednesday's loss against LSU for unknown reasons but returned to a limited role off the bench for Saturday's contest. The 6-7 freshman has averaged 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game as he continues to lack production which has contributed to the Bulldogs' struggles in conference play.

Impact It's not clear at this point why Matthews did not take the court against the Tigers. The freshman had started eight games this season and was averaging 2.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 19.2 minutes per contest. Matthews should be considered questionable until we hear further for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.
