Impact Denson will join the Cardinals following a single year with Long Beach State. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 4.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game across 30 appearances for the Beach this past season. The former Pacific transfer will retain a single year of eligibility with Ball State.

Impact Denson had started 15 of the previous 17 games he had appeared in this season, averaging a respectable 8.5 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Tigers. Burke Smith drew the start in Denson's stead here, managing just four points and three rebounds across 18 minutes. Denson's absence was clearly felt, as opposing big man Jevon Porter put up a game-high 26 points in the blowout loss. Denson's next chance to take the court will be Saturday at Loyola-Marymount.
