Impact Grill has been a nice option off the bench this season for Iowa State. He is now averaging 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.6 three-pointers in 22.7 minutes per game. Grill will look to provide another spark on the road against Texas Tech on Tuesday.

Impact Grill bounced back from two consecutive scoreless outings with his season high in points. Grill just got hot from behind the arc and the Cyclones rode him from there. He should see quite a few minutes on Tuesday against Chicago State once again.

Impact Grill played the second-most minutes on the team despite coming off the bench. He followed head coach T.J. Otzelberger from UNLV to Iowa State, so it's not overly surprising he saw that much action right out of the gate. Tyrese Hunter, Gabe Kalscheur, and Izaiah Brockington look to be the starters going forward, but Grill and Tre Jackson should mix into the backcourt rotation off the bench as capable scorers.

Impact Grill transferred in from Iowa State during the offseason. Coach Otzelberger has been experimenting with lineups and aid that Grill could be part of a four-guard lineup. Grill played a limited role with the Cyclones, but it looks like he will see a lot more opportunities with the Rebels.
