Impact Furst has steadily seen his production decline since his freshman/sophomore seasons at Purdue. He even fell out of the rotation at one point last season, but that can largely be attributed to the heavy minutes played by Wooden Award winner Zach Edey. With Edey out of the picture, it was once thought the 6-10 center would have a chance to expand his role, but so far he's been firmly behind 7-2 sophomore Will Berg on the depth chart. A season-ending injury to Daniel jacobsen (lower leg) could open up more minutes, however, as first did see a season-high in minutes and field-goal attempts in Tuesday's loss to Purdue.
