College Basketball 2025-2026 Buzz: UConn Star Solo Ball Out For 2026-27 Season

Scoreless vs. UConn Foster went scoreless (0-1 FG) but added a rebound, two assists and a steal, as well as three turnovers, in Sunday's 73-72 loss to UConn in the Elite Eight.

Impact Foster clearly wasn't 100 percent healthy for this game, and unlike in the Sweet 16 matchup against St. John's, he wasn't able to make a big impact across the board. Foster ends the 2025-26 season with averages of 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game across 33 appearances and 24.7 minutes per game.

Impact Back in early-March, Foster suffered a knee injury, and subsequent imaging of the problem resulted in his unfortunate diagnosis that he would be out indefinitely, with the earliest he would be available being in the Final Four. Fast-forward just under two weeks later, and there is an "outside chance" that the Sweet Sixteen includes his services.
