Impact The Crisler Center in Ann Arbor in a top five matchup is quite the setting for your first start of the season, but that was the role Jacobsen was thrust into Tuesday night. The junior guard has come off the bench for Nebraska for several years, but he'd started just three games prior to Tuesday night against the Wolverines, inserted into the starting five in the absence of Rienk Mast. He played admirably, notching eight points on a solid 4-of-6 shooting, and he was notably a defensive menace with four steals. The Huskers would probably prefer if Jacobsen came off the bench, but he had a solid game despite Nebraska's first loss of the 2025-26 season.
