AJ Dybantsa - Supplying the offense Dybantsa accumulated 35 points (13-28 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 75-68 loss to Arizona.
Impact Dybantsa took on the offensive load for BYU during their road loss, hoisting up a season-high 28 points while topping the 30-point mark for the sixth time this season. The Cougars are a much more limited team offensively without Richie Saunders, who was lost for the season with a torn-ACL during their last game, meaning that Dybantsa is going to have to take on an even bigger offensive load if BYU wants to have any success once the postseason tournaments start. Over his last eight games, Dybantsa is averaging 29.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 50.6-percent from the floor and 42.2-percent from beyond the arc.

Three of Dell'Orso's four made triples came in the first half to help spark Arizona, who snapped a two-game losing streak following a 23-0 start to the season. The senior reserve is a capable scorer, having averaged 19.5 points while at Campbell in 2023 and while his production is typically muted as a role player with the Wildcats, he is capable of stepping up when called up, having topped 20 points four times and 15 points nine times in his two seasons wearing an Arizona uniform.
