Joining Robert Morris
Stone announced Tuesday that he has committed to join Robert Morris in 2021-22 as a transfer from La Salle, Mike Vukovcan of PittsburghSportsNow.com reports.
Impact
Stone found a new school within the state of Pennsylvania just two days after initially placing his name in the NCAA's transfer portal. The 6-foot-11 center will sit out the remainder of the 2020-21 season, but he should be in store for a larger role at Robert Morris while retaining three years of eligibility heading into 2021-22. Over his 29 career appearances with La Salle, Stone averaged 1.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 9.0 minutes per contest.

Comes off bench in Thursday's loss
Stone scored two points (1-1 FG), grabbed two rebounds and added one block off the bench during Thursday's 82-65 loss against St. John's.
Impact
Stone came off the bench and only registered two points in a game where La Salle looked outmatched despite putting up a fight at times. He's not likely to handle a big role unless there's a rash of injuries on the frontcourt, though. La Salle's next game is at St. Peter's on Friday.
