Scores 10 points in start
Angel contributed 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes during Monday's 88-78 win over Pacific.
Impact
Angel got the start in this one in place of Spencer Jones, who is out with an injury. This was Angel's first start of his career. Last season he averaged 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. He should see his role expand as a junior.

Continues to impress
Angel provided 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and three steals across 22 minutes during Thursday's 62-57 victory over Washington State.
Impact
Angel once again shined in his bench role, tying a game-high with 16 points in only 22 minutes. He did on the strength of 55 percent shooting and it was his third straight game with multiple threes made. Angel has been a much improved shooter in his sophomore campaign with shooting splits of 61/44/74.

Career-high 18 points
Angel registered 18 points (7-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and four rebounds in 24 minutes during Thursday's 89-78 1OT victory over Dartmouth.
Impact
Angel provided a spark off the bench, scoring a career-high 18 of Stanford's 28 bench points. He made all seven of his field goal attempts and has now reached double figures in three games. It's only the second time this season Angel has seen at least 20 minutes, and he appears to be well deserving of increased playing time as he's shooting 54 percent from the floor.

Seeing more playing time
Angel has averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 13.8 mpg over his last four games.
Impact
With Stanford having to navigate injuries to starters Daejon Davis and Bryce Wills, Angel has benefited with more consistent playing time as one of the first options for Stanford off the bench. He's played a limited role in the offense thus far, but has been effective inside-the-arc where he's made 63 percent of his attempts.
