Struggles with efficiency Shrewsberry recorded 16 points (6-18 FG, 4-13 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 36 minutes during Thursday's 65-54 loss to Houston.

Impact The Fighting Irish needed Shrewsberry to be at his best Thursday, but the floor general struggled with his shot and finished with more field goal attempts than points scored. With Markus Burton (knee) sidelined for an extended stretch, Notre Dame need Shrewsberry to be one of their driving forces on offense going forward. To note, he's surpassed the 15-point mark in his last three appearances, and it'd be fair to continue to expect an uptick both in volume and usage rate in the coming games.

Scores season-high 22 points Shrewsberry finished Friday's 84-77 loss to Elon with 22 points (7-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal across 35 minutes.

Impact The Fighting Irish came up short of topping Elon in this matchup. However, even with the loss, Shrewsberry delivered a strong showing and was one of the two players who scored at least 20 points in this matchup. It's worth noting the sophomore guard has scored at least 18 points in three of his first five contests in 2024-25.

Goes for 18 points Wednesday Shrewsberry racked up 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 89-60 win over Stonehill.

Impact Shrewsberry was one of three Notre Dame players who scored in double digits in this one, and he co-led the team in scoring with Markus Burton. Given that he logged the second-most minutes in this opener, it seems he'll handle a big role in the Fighting Irish's backcourt this season.
