Impact Koehler, who exited Saturday's loss against the Eagles with a lower-body injury, returned later in the contest, closing with a 10-point double-double. The 6-foot-10 freshman will end his first regular season at the collegiate level averaging 5.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks on 15.9 minutes per game (30 games). Koehler and the Fighting Irish will need to make a run in the ACC Tournament if they have any postseason hopes.

Impact The severity of the injury is not yet known, but Koehler was productive before departing, logging 10 points (3-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 25 minutes. Coming into Saturday, the freshman had averaged 5.4 points and 3.0 rebounds across 15.4 minutes in 29 games.

Impact Since posting a double-double in a loss to Virginia on Jan. 27, Koehler has been putting up solid numbers for the Fighting Irish and has posted 10 or more points in four of his last eight outings. Koehler is averaging 7.5 points per game in conference play.

Impact Koehler was largely off the fantasy radar in non-conference play, but a recent lineup reshuffle has seen the freshman in an expanded role of late. He scored 17 in a Jan. 17 matchup at Virginia Tech, and proceeded to enter the starting lineup in Notre Dame's next game. While he was limited offensively in games against UNC and Boston College, Koehler put his stamp on this one with his first career double-double and plenty of peripheral stats to boot, though it's worth noting the two extra overtime periods helped his case. Nonetheless, this is a Notre Dame team in complete limbo without star guard Markus Burton, so coach Micah Shrewsberry will continue to experiment with different lineups, and that includes seeing what he has in this year's freshman class.
