Impact Shaver missed a trio of games in December due to a foot injury, and while he was back on the floor Wednesday, it was in a reserve capacity after starting the first three games of the year for the Broncos. The junior guard's next chance to take the court will be New Year's Eve against San Jose State.

Impact Shaver has been dealing with a foot injury that he sustained Dec. 4 against College of Idaho, but he shed his walking boot ahead of Sunday's game against Weber State. Although he was inactive Sunday, the junior could be on track to return in the Broncos' next game Dec. 21.

Dealing with foot injury Shaver is dealing with a nagging foot injury that forced him to leave Friday's win over the College of Idaho early, B.J. Rains of the Idaho Press-Tribune reports.
Impact Coach Leon Rice revealed that Shaver was dealing with his injury prior to Friday's contest, but the issue got worse during the game. As a result, he was unable to play late in the blowout win. Rice said that the team likely wouldn't know his status for a few days. It's not yet known whether he'll be ready to play Wednesday against BYU.
