BJ Davis scored 18 points off of the bench to lead the San Diego State Aztecs past the Utah Valley Wolverines 77-66 on Wednesday

Leads team in scoring off bench Davis closed with 18 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 77-66 victory over Utah Valley.

Impact Davis led a bench unit that consisted of three players, Davis, Tae Simmons and Pharaoh Compton, who scored in double figures Wednesday. The junior has now contributed at least 11 points in each of the last five games. He has yet to start this year, but he is playing 20.4 minutes per contest.

Davis is averaging 11.2 points off the bench this season, though he's shooting just 39.5 percent from the field. He's done most of his damage from the line and from three-point range, shooting 94.4 percent from the line and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc.
